Cleopatra
Let Rome in Tiber melt. Egypt’s last queen makes a triumphant return to Rome, represented in over 150 reliefs, coins, jewels and statues. This British Museum-organised exhibition is divided into various sections, which depict the glory of Cleopatra’s capital, Alexandria, and the cultural impact that Egypt made on the Roman Empire. The focus of the entire exhibition is the central gallery, with full-length statues and busts of Cleopatra and her contemporaries, including those of her illustrious lovers, Julius Caesar and Mark Anthony.
Dinofest
This dinosaur fair features more than 170,000 square feet of pre-historic relics, the largest exhibition of dinosaurs, fossils, robotic dinos, minerals and precious gems ever assembled. Included are more than 100 dinosaur skeletons, some never seen in North America. Highlights include Seismosaurus, the largest dinosaur ever uncovered, and hundreds of dinosaur eggs, the world’s largest collection, many still containing embryos. There are giant Jurassic-world dinosaurs from the American Southwest and 30 robotic, fleshed and roaring dinosaurs similar to those used in movie productions.
